GOTO DEVELOPER

You're Not Paid to Write Code

The 10-week system that makes your value impossible to ignore.

15 spots. Founding member pricing. Payment plan available.

Here's something nobody tells you early enough in your career:

The developer who writes the cleanest code, ships the fastest, and grinds the hardest is almost never the one who gets promoted, protected, or paid what they're worth.

You've watched it happen. Someone half as skilled lands the senior role. Someone who barely ships gets pulled into strategy meetings. Someone with half your experience somehow becomes "essential" while you — the person who actually holds the system together — gets treated like a line item.

It's not politics. It's not luck. It's leverage. And right now, you don't have it.

You've been optimizing the wrong equation your entire career.

What You've Been Optimizing For (And What Actually Matters)

Most developers operate on this formula whether they realize it or not:

My Value = Coding Skill x Speed

So you learn more languages. You ship faster. You grind harder. And the reward for being great at your job? More work. Same title. Same paycheck. Same invisibility.

When your company decides who to promote, protect during layoffs, or invest in — they're not measuring your code output. They're measuring something completely different.

After 25 years in software — as a developer, architect, consultant, and Microsoft MVP — I've watched thousands of developer careers. The ones who become untouchable all share the same pattern.

Leverage = Skill x Visibility x Perceived Impact / Friction

Every variable matters. But here's the thing most developers miss:

Visibility is a multiplier. If it's near zero, the whole equation collapses — it doesn't matter how skilled you are or how much impact you create, because the people who decide your career can't see it. That's the Invisibility Tax, and most developers pay it every single day.

Worse, replaceability sits in the denominator. The easier you are to replace, the more it divides down everything you've built. You can't out-code that. You have to engineer it down.

What You'll Build in 10 Weeks

This isn't a course you watch. It's a system you install -- inside your current role, starting the week you join.

🔵 Phase 1 : The Leverage Diagnostic

You'll run a full audit of where you sit in the leverage equation right now. Every variable. Scored honestly. Most developers have never done this, and the results are usually a gut punch -- in a good way. You can't fix what you can't see.

🟣 Phase 2 : The Replaceability Audit

Replaceability is the silent killer. It sits in the denominator, which means it has asymmetric power — high replaceability grinds everything above it to nothing. You'll identify the two kinds: the kind you can lower by Monday, and the kind that requires a bigger move.

🔴 Phase 3 : The Visibility System

This is where the Invisibility Tax gets addressed. You'll build a simple, repeatable system for making your thinking and contributions visible to the people who matter -- without feeling like you're self-promoting.

🟢Phase 4 : The Perceived-Impact Climb

There's a ladder most developers don't know exists: Task Executor, Problem Solver, Risk Identifier, Decision Driver, Outcome Owner. Most devs are stuck at Problem Solver. You'll identify where you are, what's keeping you there, and build a 90-day plan to move up a rung.

🟠Phase 5 : Implementation

This is where most programs end and most people stall. Not here. You'll have additional weeks of guided implementation, group accountability, and direct access to me to make sure the system actually sticks.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

This is for you if...

This is for developers who are good at their job and frustrated that it doesn't seem to matter.

You're solving hard problems. You're shipping. You're holding systems together. But you feel invisible. Replaceable. Stuck.

Maybe you're worried about AI making your skills obsolete. Maybe you've survived a round of layoffs and realized being good wasn't enough to feel safe. Maybe you're just tired of watching less-skilled developers get the opportunities you've earned.

You don't need to learn to code better. You need to learn to leverage what you already know.

This isn't for you if...

If you're looking for a get-promoted-quick scheme, this isn't it.

If you want me to tell you that learning Rust or getting another certification is the answer, I won't.

If you're not willing to look honestly at how you've been operating and make changes -- save your money.

This works for developers who are ready to stop blaming their company, their manager, or the market, and start taking control of the variables they can actually influence.

I'm Tony Champion. I've been building software for 25 years. Microsoft MVP. Conference speaker. I've consulted with companies of all sizes on Azure architecture and .NET development.

But here's what actually matters: I've spent my career watching brilliant developers stay invisible while less talented people built careers around leverage. I did it myself — figured out the equation through trial and error over two decades. This program is the system I wish someone had handed me at year 5.

I'm not a career coach who's never written production code. I'm a developer who figured out what actually drives career outcomes, and I'm tired of watching good people get passed over because nobody taught them this.

The Founding Cohort

The GoTo Developer is a 10-week system for becoming a hard developer to replace.

This is the first cohort, and I'm keeping it small — 15 spots — because I want to be in the room with every person who goes through it.

$597 Founding Member Price

After this cohort, the price goes to $997. You're getting the same system at founding price because you're helping me prove what I already know — that this equation changes careers.

Payment plan available: 2 x $325

The Guarantee

Show up. Do the work. Run the diagnostic. Complete the friction audit. Build your visibility system.

If you do all of that and don't feel a genuine shift in how you operate and how you're perceived at work — I'll work with you . I'm not worried about refunds. Developers who actually do this work don't ask for their money back. They ask what's next.

GOT QUESTIONS?

Quick Answers

How much time does this take per week?

Two to three hours. One hour for the weekly group call, and one to two hours implementing what you learned that week. This is designed for working developers with full-time jobs. If you can find three hours a week, you can do this.

Do I need to be a senior developer?

No. You need to have been in the game long enough to realize that being good at your job doesn't guarantee anything. If you've felt invisible, passed over, or replaceable despite doing solid work -- you're in the right place regardless of your title.

What if I can't make the live calls?

Every call is recorded. But I'd encourage you to show up live when you can. The conversations that happen in real time are where the biggest shifts happen.

Is this about building a personal brand or posting on LinkedIn?

No. This is about building leverage inside your current company and role. No social media required. No content creation. Just a system for making your existing work more visible and your position less replaceable.

What happens after the 45 days?

You'll have a fully installed leverage system -- your diagnostic scores, your friction audit, your visibility system, and your ownership climb plan. For developers who want to go further and build leverage outside their company, there's a next step. But the 45-day system stands on its own.

Stop being the best-kept secret at your company.
